At approx. 0220am BLFD was dispatched to a reported chimney fire. First arriving units confirmed a chimney fire and requested the ladder first due. Ladder 58 arrived and set up while Engine 53 extinguished the remaining fire in the fire box. No extension was found and units cleared the scene in about one hour.

Recently Ladder 58, Car51 and 52 responded to Sandpiper Dr. in the Panther Valley section of Allamuchy Twp. For a house fire. Ladder 58 responded as the Rapid Intervention Crew and the Chiefs assisted command. The crew was released within a half hour. The fire was contained to one bedroom.
Budd Lake Engine 59 and Flanders Brush 98 responded mutual aid to Schooleys Mountain for a large brush fire. Engine 59 hit a hydrant and supplied water NJ forest fire and Mansfield Engine. Crews assisted with suppression once supply lines were established.
March 2nd late afternoon the fire department was called to assist Bryam Fire with a house fire on Belton Rd. Ladder 58 with a crew of 6 and Chief 1 responded. Ladder 58 stood by a rapid intervention crew and chief 1 assisted with command. All units returned within 2 hours.
