Rescue Handles Several Crashes
October was a little busy so far with some motor vehicle crashes all had no serious injuries all minor the Rescue assisted with cleanup and getting the roads open.

The department was out in the public during fire prevention week stopping at some day cares and elementary school as well as the Lowes Safety Day. We had a great time teaching and showing off our equipment.
Just after midnight on Tuesday the Flanders Fire Department was called to the Morris County Transfer Station for a trailer on fire. August 1st the new Wawa opened on rt. 206 in Flanders. Ladder 58 and units from Flanders Fire and Ems joined forces against the Police in a Hogie making contest the Police won but a great open thanks for the invite.
The department held a training drill on rope rescue with the members training on high and low angle rescue. Over the last week and a half Budd Lake and Flanders Fire and Rescue Squads attended some summer camps it was assume spraying the kids and letting them go through the fire trucks. Have a great and safe summer. We will see everyone at National Night Out August 6th at Turkey Brook Park.
