Shortly after 1 am the department was called to assist with providing water to an apartment complex fire in Randolph Twp. Tender 57 and Chief 2 responded. The Tender pumped water in a line of other Tenders the crews returned a few hours later.

We were recently called for a brush fire on Station Rd. on arrival a pile of logs was on fire, engine 53 quickly put the fire out. Please watch where you put your ashes, they can smolder for days luckily there was minor damage to a plastic shed and not a home.

The long wait was over Santa and the elves came to town the fire department spent part of the holiday season out and abought with stops at the towns tree lighting, a grand opening, the Netcong Christmas Parade and stopping 14 different areas of town spreading cheer a great time was had by all.
