Recently the department purchased a used shipping container to help with some extra storage. The department would like to thank the following people for their donation of time to get the container to the fire house and set it up for us. The container will be cleaned up and painted to fit in.

Do a large water main break in the City of Paterson the Passaic County Fire coordinators requested Tenders and Engines from around the State to assist with providing water. Budd Lake Fire assisted 2 times one with Tender 57 then Engine 59 did a 12-hour standby. Allways willing to assist people in need.

Last week the Ladder Truck was dispatched into Netcong for a Rapid Intervention Assignment. Ladder 58 Car 50 and 52 responded and assisted by standing by at the scene before being relisted. The fire was on a deck in the Netcong Hights apartments.
The Department’s Rescue has been busy with a lot of car crashes within a 3 day span we ran 6 crashes ranging for minor to serious with 2 Med-Vac’s, 2 rollovers. 1 with a trapped person and a few minor one all victims were treated and transported. Here is some of the action.

Recently the department were dispatched to the lake for a capsized paddle boat. Marine 1 and utility 54 responded along with Chief 2 and 3 the boat was deployed, and the crew was able to tow it to shore there was no one in or around the boat.
