Late afternoon Car 51 and Rescue 55 responded to a 2 car crash at the intersection of Rt. 46 and Connelly ave. With fireworks going off all around and smoke drifting crews cleaned up the crash. There were no injuries and the roadway was reopened within a half hour.

This Saturday morning the department took part in touch a truck at Turkey Brook Park. Rescue 55 was on hand showing off their Heavy Rescue. Great turn out and a fun time was had by all.
Sunday just after dinner Ladder 58 and Car 51 were dispatched to the Mansfield Shop Rite for an appliance fire. 58 responded as a rapid intervention team and stood by as crews extinguished a fire in the produce section of the store. The crew returned within 2 hours.

Late on Monday crews were dispatched to Mountain Ridge apartments for a dumpster fire. Car 51 arrived and reported a dumpster on fire with fireworks going off. Car 50 and Engine 59 arrived and the crew quickly had a line on the fire. The dumpster was not near any buildings and there were no injuries.
