Firefighters Respond to Eagle Rock for Mulch Fire

Recently firefighters responded to Eagle Rock in the area of building 20 for brush fire, cars 51 and 52 arrived and found a small pile of mulch burning next to the building. Engine 53 and Ladder 58 arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. There were no injuries and no damage to the building.

Budd Lake Firefighters Train at Somerset Fire Academy

Saturday morning June 27th Budd Lake Firefighters went to the Somerset County Fire Academy and practiced doing live burns crews took turns doing searches, fire attack, rapid intervention and some combined drills on all three. Firefighters trained till just after noon and cleaned up and had lunch before leaving for home.

E-53 Runs small dumpster fire in Hensyn Village

Shortly after lunch firefighters responded to Hensyn Village for a dumpster fire Car 50 and 52 along with Engine 53 arrived and used a one inch trash line an knocked the fire out within five minutes. All units returned within fifteen minutes.
