Recently crews were dispatched to a local laundromat for a fire alarm, crews found a heavy smoke condition inside with a dryer burning. Engine 53 and Car 50 entered the building and quickly knock down the fire with a water extinguisher. Crews checked for extension and ladder 58 vented the building. There were no injuries, and a small amount of clothes were destroyed with very little damage to the dryer.
