Firefighters Train on Using Saws

Budd Lake Firefighters trained on the use and care of rescue saws as part of the training drills. This drill focused on cutting car hoods, concrete and steel firefighters took turns cutting and chaining blades and the different technics used in the different situations set up by the officers.

Firefighters Respond to a Motor Vehicle Crash on Rt. 46

On Sunday July 31st Budd Lake Firefighters and First Aiders responded to the top of Hackettstown Mountain on Rt. 46 by Sandshore Rd. for a three car crash. Responders took one person to the hospital and three others refused medical treatment. Firefighters cleaned up the road and the highway was open within a half hour.
