Friday April 16th around 11:00 am the Washington Township Fire Companies were dispatched to 442 Naughright Rd. for the kitchen fire. Upon arrival of Chief Griese he reported a working fire in a one and a half story wood frame and requested Budd Lake Fire Co. for the F.A.S.T. assignment. All three Washington companies responded and stretched two inch and three quarter hand lines on the fire and had a quick knock down of the fire. The house was on a small farm and was built in the 1800’s damage was mostly in kitchen and front of the house. There were no injuries and the fire was under control within thirty minutes.
