Santa Had a Great Visit

Saturday December 17th the Budd Lake Fire Department had the honor of escorting Santa around town. The department want to thank all for the greeting we got from breakfast to hot chocolate at the Village Green. We are already planning next year’s visit. Happy Holladay’s to all. Rollover on the Interstate

Recently the fire department was sent to Rt. 80 West for a crash with an overturned car. Rescue 55 Cars 50, 51 & 52 were on the assignment crews did a general cleanup the person was not injured. Crews returned to service within a half hour.

Trailer Donation from Fratelli Beretta USA

The Budd Lake Fire Department recently received a donation from Fratelli Beretta USA of a 7×14 enclosed trailer to the department replacing an older trailer. See the new format this year with the town being so big our area of coverage is 27 square miles so we have set up different places and time for the public to gather.

R.I.C. into Mt. Arlington

Last week the department was called to Arlington Ave. in Mount Arlington for a house fire. Ladder 58 responded as the rapid intervention Crew along with Car 50 and 51 one on scene the took the front of the building an stood as needed. The crews were released about 1 hour later.

Helping To honor a Brother

This past weekend the members did a flag detail for the Byram Fire Department who held a memorial service for a member of service Lieutenant Will Garcia who lost his battle with cancer.
