Wires Start Brush Fire

Recently the department was dispatched to Rt. 46 just before Johnson Dodge for wires down causing a brush fire. Engine 53, 59, Car 51, 50 and 52 all responded, crews stood by for JCP&L to arrive and shut down power so the engine could extinguish the fire. Crews cleared within 2 hours.

2 Car Crash on Rt. 80

Thursday morning the Rescue and Car 51 responded to Rt. 80 East @ 26 for 2 car crash, units assisted the tow company with cleaning up the road. EMS transported 1 to the hospital. Units went back in service within a half hour.
