Shortly after 1 am the department was called to assist with providing water to an apartment complex fire in Randolph Twp. Tender 57 and Chief 2 responded. The Tender pumped water in a line of other Tenders the crews returned a few hours later.

With the weather cold and snowing the department took advantage of some indoor training on man vs machine where crews practiced removing hands and feet from snowblowers, woodchippers and meat grinders as well as cutting rings off that were stuck on fingers. We were recently called for a brush fire on Station Rd. on arrival a pile of logs was on fire, engine 53 quickly put the fire out. Please watch where you put your ashes, they can smolder for days luckily there was minor damage to a plastic shed and not a home.
