The night before the mud run at Turkey Brook Park firefighters from Budd Lake and Flanders Fire filled up the mud pits for the competitors over 6 thousand gallons of water were used.

Friday afternoon the fire department responded to rt. 80 for a overturned truck with entrapment upon arrival of car 51 and Squad 56 all occupancies were out of the vehicle with minor injuries. 56 remained on scene to assist with cleanup units returned within an hour.
