Touch a Truck Event
Budd Lake and Flanders Fire attended the JCC Metrowest Camp Deeny Riback touch a truck event. Engine 53 was on display, and the kids had a great time going through the trucks and learning abought fire safety.
Mount Olive Carnival
The department attended this year’s carnival and wow what a turnout. We were so excited to see everyone who stopped by the tent and said hello and took helmets, footballs and wristbands. Our members loved the company and of course the food. Hats off to the recreation committee for putting on a great event. we look forward to 2027.
Stars & Strips
Friday night was great we attended the Recreation Departments Stars and Strips Summer Nights celebration. The crew was on hand with plastic helmet giveaways small footballs and some wrist bands lots of kids and big kids stopped by to chat and say hello. The crew enjoyed some good food truck eats can’t wait till the next event the Carnival.
Touch a Truck 26
The fire department attended the 2026 Recreations touch a truck event at Turkey Brook Park Rescue 55 was on full display showing off all their tools. The crew had a great time interacting with all the kids big and small. We had a blast onto the next event June 26th for Stars and Stripes Summer Nights.
Food Trucks & Fireworks
The department attended the food truck event at turkey brook park. The members loved the food, music and seeing all the town residence loved talking with all. The crews ran 3 fire calls but still was able to sample the food. The team also covered the fireworks.
2025 National Night Out
The fire department attended this great event again this year and we had a blast. Talking and seeing all the towns people and interacting with the kids was great we hope all had a good time. Can’t wait till next year but summers not over we will see all at the food truck event later this August.
July 2025 Camp Deeny Riback hosted a tuck a truck for the campers and Budd Lake Fire was on hand along with Flanders Fire and the Mount Olive Fire Marshal’s office. Engine 53 and Tower 96 were on hand showing off their tools. Great time was had by all love getting out in the community.
