Thursday afternoon Ladder 58 and Tender 57 were requested into Independence Twp. for a large pile of logs and some trailers on fire. Chief 1 and 2 along with L-58 and the Tender responded with 8 firefighters once on scene the ladder was requested to set up for water operations. The crew flowed water for around 3 and a half hours hitting the pile of logs and some wood line. The Tender was in line with others from the area and tempted around 6 thousand gal. of water. The crews were released after 4 hr.
