Clarence H. Brickman Obituary

Clarence H. Brickman, 91, of Budd Lake, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025, at Heath Village in Washington Township, NJ.

Born on November 6, 1933, in Somerville, NJ, Clarence was the son of the late John and Mildred (Cortwright) Brickman. A proud resident of Budd Lake for 70 years, he dedicated much of his life to serving his community. Clarence was a volunteer firefighter with the Budd Lake Fire Department since 1955, earning recognition in 2015 from both local and state officials for his unwavering commitment and selfless service. He was a parishioner of St. Jude R.C. Church in Budd Lake.

Clarence retired as a Road Supervisor from the Morris County Road Department after a distinguished career. Known for his handiness and generosity, he was always willing to help friends and neighbors with repairs, big or small.

Clarence is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Maureen (McDonald) Brickman; his three devoted children, Steven Brickman, Kathleen Brickman, and Karen de Jaager and her husband, Frederick; his dear sister, Ethel Pierson; and many cherished family members and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Guy Brickman, and his three siblings, George Brickman, Astella Von Horn, and John Brickman.
