Recently the department responded to smoke in the area of Berry Ct. Engine 53 responded and found a tree took down power lines in a wooded area off Sunrise Ave. The crew stood by waiting on the power company to cut the power. As soon as the power was cut the crew took water cans in and put out a small brush fire that had started. JCP&L remained on scene repairing the lines and restoring power.
