Tuesday night August 24th firefighters trained on fighting car fires using real life props by filling cares with hay and rotating crews as they sharpen their firefighting skills on fighting car fires. The first car was donated to the department for the drill the second truck was the fire departments old chiefs car a 1998 Chevy Tahoe that was retired earlier this year. It was strange seeing a truck that saw a lot of fire in it time blazing away but the training was great and the department is better prepared.
