Saturday afternoon May 7th Budd Lake Fire and Rescue responded to Rt. 46 west across from # 425 for a two-car crash with injuries. Units arrived and started patient care and soon found that the passenger in the front seat had a broken femur and required Squad 56 to use the jaws of life to free the man from the car. EMS had two other victims to attend to as well so Flanders Rescue was dispatched to assist. Two victims were transported by Budd Lake & Flanders EMS along with St. Clair’s Medic 517 to Morristown Hospital and the third by Budd Lake was transported to Hackettstown Hospital. Rt. 46 was closed for abought an hour.
