On Thursday 3/29/2012 the Roxbury fire department responded to a reported structure fire at 20 Timberline Dr. Upon arrival of first in unit, a Roxbury Fire Inspector declared a working fire and quickly called in the Netcong, Flanders and Budd Lake Fire departments to assist while Randolph and Mt Arlington fire departments stood by. Quint 11 and Engine 13 arrived and stretched two inch and three quarter lines to the second floor and made an interior attack on the fire as other companies put up ladders and a second crew did searches and rescued two family dogs from the first floor. The fire was under control in thirty minutes there were no reported injuries and the fire is under investigation by the Roxbury police and fire marshal’s office.
