Monday morning October 29th just as Sandy started to ramp up Netcong Fire units were dispatched to Family Ford on Rt. 183 for a smoke condition in the garage behind the show room. As Chief Koster arrived and confirmed a fire in the roof area of the garage a Raped Intervention Crew was dispatched from the Budd Lake Fire Department while the first due engine stretched attack lines into the garage and started to knock down the fire. The second due engine secured a supply line and went to the roof to start opening up. The fire was under control within a half hour with no injuries a garbage truck ran into some power lines witch may have contributed to the cause of the fire, it is still under investigation by the Netcong Police and Fire Official.
