Late morning on Friday the 24th of April Budd Lake and Flanders responded to the Parkade Mall for a garbage truck fire. Upon arrival of Cars 50 and 52 along with Engine 59 the driver had dumped its load of garbage onto the parking lot. Engine 59 stretched a front bumper line on the fire and started to knock down the fire, Tender 57 and Engine 95 arrived to provide water and assist. The fire was knock down within 15 minuets and the garbage company came in and cleaned up the parking lot and hulled away all the garbage.
