Just as the snowstorm got into full gear a car driving down Flanders Drakestown Rd. lost control and hit the snow and flipped over into the river alongside the bridge. The driver got out on his own and was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Rescue 55 with 2 firefighters in ice suites assisted with hooking up the car to a tow truck. Units cleared and continued to stand by at quarters for the duration of the storm.
