Just before lunchtime, the Budd Lake Fire Department was called to Eagle Rock Village for a cat stuck in a tree approximately 25 feet off the ground.
Engine 59 arrived on scene, and Firefighters Angel Perez and Sean Dolan quickly went to work to bring the frightened feline safely back to the ground.
Thanks to their efforts, the cat was rescued without incident, much to the relief and happiness of the nearby residents who had been watching and hoping for a safe outcome.
It turns out this lucky cat really did have an angel looking out for it that day! 🐾❤️
Great job by Engine 59 and Firefighters Perez and Dolan for making sure this little adventure had a happy ending!
