8 Members were certified in Vehicle extraction recently when the department held a class at a junk yard. The crews were trained in several types of extrications using all the jaws of life and other specialized tools. The class was 2 days one night of lecture and a full day in the yard. The department has 20 firefighters now certified and at the ready if someone should crash.
