Thursday around 5:30 am with a thick fog covering the area of Rt. 46 near Naughright Rd. a SUV traveling east bound ran under a tractor trailer that had pulled across all lanes of the highway to back into a business the driver only saw the truck last minuet due to thick foggy conditions. Budd Lake and Flanders fire rescue trucks responded and used the tools to cut the person from the car that was halfway under the truck. The driver of the SUV was transported to Morristown by Atlantic EMS and St. Clair’s Medics; the truck driver was not injured. The crews stood by as the Mount Olive Police, Morris County Sheriffs Office and the New Jersey State Police investigated the crash. Units cleared after 5 hours and the roadway was opened.
