Sunday morning a fire alarm came in for Mount Olive High School Flanders Fire arrived and found smoke in a hallway and called for Budd Lake Fire for help. Crews stretched a line into the first floor and quickly extinguished a fire that was in a floor drying fan caught fire and burned the carpet as well as some wall mounted maps. There was smoke damage as well. The building was vented and crews checked for extension. There was no one in the school at the time.
