Just after Father’s Day lunch calls came in for smoke coming from a home in the Windinghill section of Budd Lake. Car 51 arrived and had smoke pushing from the eves of the 1st floor. Car 52 and 50 arrived and 50 took command Engine 53 pulled up and quickly stretched a line in and put the fire out. Tower 96 and E-59 assisted with a vent and secondary searches of the home. The home was under construction and no one was living there. The fire is under investigation by the Police and Mount Olive Fire Marshal’s office. The fire did require a 2nd alarm bringing M/A to the scene and station coverage.
