This past Wednesday a car lost control and hit a utility pole Infront of the Budd Lake Fire House after the driver got out the car, the started-on fire. Engine 59 was driven out of the bay and a line was stretched on the fire. The EMS crew checked out the driver and found no injuries to the person. The fire was quickly extinguished, and the Power company and Verizon had to come out and replace the pole and restore phone service.
