During the crazy drought conditions Rockaway Twp. had the first of many large brush fires this one was near the old sky resort. Along with many other towns and counties Tender 57 along with UTV-1 responded to assist crews did an 8-hour shift assisting with water supply and hitting hot spots near homes. Engine 59 also responded and assisted with structure protection. Flanders Fire was also sent with there 2 Brush trucks to assist.
