Just after a storm blew in and dumped heavy rain the department was called out for a car fire on Interstate 80 West mm 25. Car 50 and 51 arrived and found a fully involved car fire on the east bound side of the highway in the center lane. Engine 59 and Tender 57 arrived and stretched their front bumper line on the fire. The fire was put out within 15 minuets but when the car was put on the tow truck the fuel tank leaked and 59’s crew had to do a hazmat cleanup. There were no injuries at the scene.
