Sunday late afternoon calls came in from State Police for a brush fire at MM 25. Cars 50, 51 and 52 with Engine 59 responded and had a 10-foot wide by 200-foot area of grass burning in the center median. Crews were assisted by the NJ Forest Fire service quickly extinguished the fire and the road was reopened to all traffic within a half hour.
