This past weekend the department along with the Allamunchy Fire Department went to the Somerset County Fire Acadamy for some live burn training. The crews did 3 burns with 3 different cinereous, a bedroom fire, garage fire and an arson fire that was set in 2 locations in the building. Crews took turns putting out fires, search and rescue and venting the roof. It was great to work with other department sharping their skills. We keep training to protect the citizens of Mount Olive and surrounding communities.
