Early Friday morning firefighters were sent to route 80 east just before exit 25 for a car on fire. Cars 51, 52 and 50 along with Engine 59 were assigned to the call and arrived to find a SUV fully involved. Engine 59 stretched their front bumper line on the fire and quickly knock down the fire as NJ State Police shut down 1 lane. There were no injuries and the crew went back in service within 45 minutes.
