Earlier this week the department was dispatched as a rapid intervention crew to Chaucer Dr. in Independence Township for a house fire Cars 50 and 51 along with Rescue 55 responded and stood by with the R.I.C. team of 6 men. As soon as they arrived Tender 57 was assigned to the fire for water supply. Crews operated for abought 2 hours before being released. The fire was in the garage and extended to the house and through the roof.
