The department keep busy with 2 more car accidents, the first one was on Village Way when a car lost control and hit a light pole and a tree. The rescue and car 51 responded and found a small fire under the hood that was quickly extinguished. The person was checked out by Atlantic EMS an refused medical treatment and was transported by Mom to and area hospital. The second was on the Interstate at mile post 26 during the heavy rain storm. Rescue 55 and Cars 50 & 51 found three vehicles one on its roof crews assisted EMS and secured the vehicles and cleaned up the roadway. All 4 people were treated with minor injuries.
