On July 6th firefighters were dispatched to Naughright Rd and Route 46 for a traffic Crash. 4 Cars were involved with at least 6 people sent to the hospital and 1 person flown to a trauma center. Chiefs 2 and 3 along with Squad 56 worked the scene and the cleanup. Eng. 59 covered the landing Zone for the helicopter at Sandshore School. On July 8th firefighters were back to the same intersection for a garbage truck that busted a hydraulic line and spilled hydraulic flued on the road and the parking lot of the mall. Squad 56 Engine 53 and 59 along with the Township sand truck cleaned up the spill as Morris County Haz-Mat team supervised the cleanup.
