Budd Lake Fire covered Roxbury company 2’s firehouse and did respond to a car fire on rt. 80 while standing by. Flanders covered Roxbury company 1s firehouse.
Sunday night January 20th as temperatures dropped below 0 and high winds picked up the Roxbury Fire Companies were called to a house on Ridge Rd. for a report of a well involved garage fire upon arrival the attached garage was involved in fire and spreading to the house and into the first floor. Crews laid a supply line in and stretched hand lines to start attacking the fire. All occupants were out of the house command required a second alarm be struck brining mutual aid into the scene to help with fire suppression and conduct searches. The fire was brought under control within an hour despite the weather conditions there were no reported injuries. The fire us under investigation by the Roxbury Police and Fire Marshal’s Office.
