Firefighters responded to route 46 in front on the Budd Lake Transmission Shop for a car rolled over with a person trapped Car 50 and 51 along with Squad 56 found a women trapped upside down in the car 56’s crew went to work with the jaws to open the doors and remove the women. The women was removed within fifteen minutes and transported to Morristown Hospital by the Budd Lake Rescue Squad. JCP&L were called to the scene a telephone pole was snapped in half as a result of the crash. Assisting at the scene were Fire Marshal 1 and 3, Hackettstown Regional EMS, Rescue 81, 77 and Flanders Rescue Squad. The highway was fully reopened 4 hours later.
