Friday night June 19th 2015 the Budd Lake Fire Department celebrated Firefighter Clarence Brickman’s 60 years of service to the Township of Mt. Olive. Clarence joined the fire department on January 14th 1955 and has always been a man that put the Departments needs ahead of sometimes his own. The night started by all firefighters saluting Mr. Brickman as he arrived for the dinner in his honor a representative from the US Congress stopped by and presented him with a resolution from the US Congress followed by the Mt. Olive Mayor and Council President both presenting Clarence with resolutions and Morris County Board of Freeholders also had a resolution and letters of appreciation from the State Senate General Assembly and NJ Governor Chris Christie. The last award of the night was presented by Chief Evans and President Compano from all the Officers and Members of the Budd Lake Fire Department followed by dinner and some great story telling by Clarence and some older members.
