Thursday around diner time Budd Lake and Flanders Fire Departments were dispatched to the parking lot of the Mount Olive Township library for a car on fire, Car 52 arrived and reported a fire in the engine compartment. Engine 59 stretched there 100 foot bumper line and started knocking down the fire as Engine 95 arrived soon after and assisted overhaul. The fire was put out within fifteen minutes and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation by the Mt. Olive Police and Fire Marshal.
