Tail of Two Ladders in Mount Olive

The first ladder started in the 70’s and in 1980 a brand new 100 foot Mack ladder went into service for Budd Lake Fire and Mt. Olive it was a work horse and in 2004 got a face lift and continued to be a work horse answering over a thousand  alarms and hundreds of fires over a 33 year period in 2013 it was time to let her go and bring a new state of the art ladder in the new ladder a 2013 Seagrave 100 foot beast will carry on the job she has big shoes to fill. The old lady will not die she is scheduled to now preform service in Blairstown NJ and I am sure she will do us proud.
