Budd Lake Assists Byram With House Fire

Saturday August 3rd just after eleven o’clock Budd Lake Firefighters were dispatched to Byram Township for the Tender to assist with water supply Tender 57 with 2 members as well as Chief 51 and 52 responded and assisted firefighters at 4 Meteor Trail in the Cranbury Lake section of town there was heavy fire on the second floor, the first in engine company stretched lines to the fire and started knocking down the fire as crew were opening up. Due to the lack of hydrants in the area a Tender Task Force was dispatched as well as companies from Stanhope, Netcong, Hopatcong and Andover Township who assisted with venting, water supply and Rapid Intervention Crews Lakeland Emergency crews provided firefighter rehab and EMS standby the fire was under control within an hour and there were no injuries reported.
