Sunday night August 26th firefighters responded to Anna Drive for a report of a car fire in the driveway Chief Dorlan arrived and reported a car fire with extension to the house. Engine 59 was first due and stretched a line on the fire and quickly knocked down the fire. Squad 56 sent their crew to the second floor and checked for extension. There was very little damage to the inside of the home but the car and siding were heavily damaged. Flanders Fire Company also responded along with Budd Lake First Aid Squad. There were no injuries and the fire is under investigation by the Mt. Olive Police and the Fire Marshal’s Office.
