Saturday May 15th 2010 23 Firefighters from departments all over Warren County and 2 from Morris County graduated the Firefighter One program after enduring months of classroom and practical training exercises in burn building covering everything from ladders, haz-mat, ems, hose lines, search and rescue to name a few. This class marked the first outside graduation the academy ever held and the weather was perfect as the sun shinned down on the graduates and their families. The class president presented the instructors with tee shirt and a plaque for their tireless teaching and guidance. Budd Lake firefighter Jon Olszowy received the academic achievement award for having the best score on the test. All had a great time.
